and I'm not sure what all the fuss was with the other comments but I think any time we can find a teaching moment it is great.so if you don't agree with the idea of the game teach your youth why!!! I have not tried this but it looks like fun. For sinners by themselves would never want to go to the cross. He chooses sinners and not the other way around. Scripture teaches no such thing and instead God 'finds' the lost. The part where the lost have to find the lighted cross. This game kind of teaches salvation by works. This game was submitted by Aaron Kilbourn - thanks Aaron!ĬommentsIn our Church we call this comunest church As a leader be sure to have Scripture on hand to support answers and dialogue. Ask questions about parallels with facing real fear, evil, having the light of Christ, etc. Most importantly, be sure to talk it over with youth when done. The lost also can have the option of staying or leaving once they got to the cross.Ħ. A variation is to only give out a few bracelets and to have the Christians try to get as many lost to the cross as they can. The demons have to work in pairs to harass Christians but can go solo to catch the lost.ĥ. The lighted Christians now try to find the lost and give them the clue to the lighted cross. The helper also gives them a paper slip with a CLUE for the lost as to where the lighted cross can be found. The helper will also give the lighted ones a prayer on a piece of paper they have to read out loud to chase off demons trying to stop them. If the lost find the lighted cross, a helper at the cross will give them a glow bracelet signifying they, "have the found the light" as Christians. While they are looking the demons can tag them and escort them back to base where they have to stay for a 5 minutes or have them do jumping jacks, etc.ģ. The lost are looking for the lighted cross. You can either chose 2-3, "demons" beforehand or have some surprise guest adults join in as demons. Everyone starts out being, "lost" in the dark with a base they have to return to if they are caught. It also helps to have hooded robes for the demons.ġ. You will need enough glow bracelets for everyone once they, "find the light". This is best played with low lights and room to run and hide. Even though the Future War Cult thought they were doing the right thing they were being deceived and thus misled the people, but it showed that the people of the Last City were still willing to question the Tower and follow the factions if they feel it is the appropriate response. This is a great, fun game for leading into topics like spiritual warfare, reaching the lost, etc. Season of the Splicer showed how much power and influence the factions could hold. This type of split wouldn’t be anything new either. Those dedicated to the Light and the Traveler might continue to honor how they’ve approached the conflict historically as the Shadows of Yor and their followers join the forces of Darkness. If Lightfall focuses on these Guardians the Vanguard and humanity could fracture down the middle. Even though many look down on Dredgen Yor and see his actions as indefensible some idolize him, finding an artificial refuge for their admiration within the Shadows of Yor. The infamous Dredgen Yor wielded one of the classic exotic weapons, Thorn, and killed innocents to consume their Light.

There have been those in the past who have succumbed to the Darkness, seeing its power as the answer instead of the Traveler’s. On the other hand, Lightfall could mean the fall of the Guardians.
